Privacy Policy

Who we are

KAMP Agency ("KAMP", "we", "us") is a TikTok Shop and live commerce agency based in New York. Questions about this policy, and requests about your data, go to Andy@AgencyKamp.com. Andrew Pevzner, Founder, is responsible for privacy at KAMP.

What we collect

Website visitors.

• Information you submit in our forms: name, email address, company, and your message.
• Basic usage data about page views and how visitors reach the site. We use Google Analytics 4 and our own lightweight page-view beacon for this.

Brands and sellers we work with. When a seller authorizes KAMP through a TikTok Shop Partner app, we receive shop data from TikTok Shop through the permissions the seller approves. Depending on the app and the scopes granted, this can include:

• Orders, products and inventory.
• LIVE stream statistics.
• Affiliate and sample data.
• Settlements and fees.
• Advertising reporting.
• For our customer service app, buyer conversations with the shop, including message content and the related order and product information shown with them.

Portal users. If you have a BaseKamp account, we hold your name, work email and the activity needed to run your account securely.

How we use it

• To provide the services a brand has engaged us for: reporting, shop operations, LIVE programs, affiliate and sample management, and customer service.
• For customer service, to let KAMP staff read buyer conversations and prepare draft replies. A person at KAMP reviews and approves each reply before it is sent. Drafts are not sent automatically.
• To respond to inquiries sent through our website.
• To keep the website and portal secure, and to understand how they are used.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use shop data or buyer conversations for advertising, and we do not use them to build marketing profiles of buyers.

Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers that we need to run the service, and only for that purpose:

• Hosting and infrastructure: Vercel, and Supabase for our database, which is hosted in the United States.
• Email delivery: Resend.
• AI drafting: Anthropic. To prepare a draft reply, the relevant conversation text is sent to Anthropic's API. Drafts remain subject to human approval.
• Website analytics: Google Analytics.

We also share data when the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of others. If KAMP is part of a merger or sale, data may transfer as part of it, and the same commitments will apply.

A brand's shop data is shown to that brand and to KAMP staff working on that brand. It is not shown to other clients.

How long we keep it

We keep shop data for as long as the seller's authorization is active and the brand remains our client. We delete it on request, or after the relationship ends. A seller can revoke KAMP's access at any time in TikTok Shop Seller Center, and when they do, we stop receiving new data. Website form submissions are kept for as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of the conversation.

Security

Access to shop data is limited to KAMP staff who need it, and to the brand's own portal users. Data is stored in managed cloud infrastructure and protected in transit with encryption. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect the data entrusted to us and to fix problems promptly.

Your choices and rights

• Sellers can revoke KAMP's access in TikTok Shop Seller Center at any time.
• Anyone can ask us to tell them what we hold about them, correct it, or delete it. Email Andy@AgencyKamp.com. We aim to respond within 30 days.
• Buyers whose conversations reached us through a brand's shop can send the same request to us, or to the brand. We will act on it or direct it to the brand that controls the shop.
• Residents of some states and countries have additional rights under local law, including access, deletion and correction. We honor those requests where they apply.
• You can limit analytics by using your browser's privacy settings or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Roles

For shop data and buyer conversations, the brand that owns the shop decides why the data is used, and KAMP acts as its service provider, handling the data on its behalf and on its instructions. For our own website and portal accounts, KAMP decides how the data is used.

Children

Our website and services are for businesses. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will tell our clients directly.
